PHIL HAWKINS

Phil is a commercials and feature film director. From directing Oscar-winners to kids, his passion for performance and storytelling always strives for a cinematic experience. A self-confessed geek, he’s super experienced in VFX driven work and virtual production techniques. From retail to banks and beer, he’s worked worldwide for brands such as Pokémon, Sony, Microsoft, Birra Moretti, Magic The Gathering, Acer, HSBC, Cartoon Network amongst many others. His movies have been released by Universal Pictures, Sky Studios, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate & Netflix and he also wrote and directed the critically acclaimed STAR WARS: ORIGINS, a mash-up of Indiana Jones & Star Wars which has reached almost 3 million views.

His latest feature stars Oscar-nominee Naomie Harris (Bond), Gwendoline Christie (Star Wars, Severance), Mark Williams (Harry Potter) and a cast of over 50 children. ROBIN AND THE HOODS is a “Goonies meets Game Of Thrones” inspired action-adventure movie that has won multiple Best Film and Jury prizes at major festivals and due for release in the US this summer.
